Terms

The rules for using Can We Launch: what the service does, what you can point it at, and where each side stands.
1The agreement
These terms are between you and Doxa Technologies LLC, the company that runs Can We Launch. Using the site, running a scan or opening an account means you accept them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a company, you are confirming you can bind that company.
2What the service does
We run automated checks against a website you point us at and report what we find, across areas such as performance, SEO, accessibility, security headers, privacy behavior and broken links.
The findings are informational. A scan is not a penetration test, a security audit or a legal compliance review, and it is not legal advice. Automated checks miss things, and they sometimes flag things that turn out to be fine on your site. Use your own judgment before acting on a finding, and get professional advice where the stakes call for it.
3Your account
Give accurate details when you sign up and keep them current. You are responsible for what happens under your account, so keep your password to yourself and tell us promptly if you think someone else has got into it.
One account belongs to one person. Sharing a login is how access ends up somewhere you did not intend.
4Sites you are allowed to scan
Only submit sites you own or have permission to test. A scan makes real requests against the address you give us, loads it in a browser, and uses it the way a visitor would, including submitting forms with obviously fake data. By submitting an address you are confirming you are entitled to have that done.
Do not use the service to probe someone else’s site without their agreement, to get around access controls or rate limits, or to gather information for anything unlawful.
5Sites we will not scan
Some addresses Can We Launch refuses to point itself at, whoever asks. A scan loads the target in a real browser and captures screenshots of it, so before anything is fetched we check the address against a denylist, a filtered DNS resolver and a malicious-URL service. A refused address is told only that the site cannot be scanned.
Whatever gets past those checks, you must not use the service to capture, host or share:
- sexual content, and in particular any sexual content involving children
- content that exists to shock, or that depicts real violence, injury or death
- material that harasses someone, or that attacks people for who they are
- pages built to deceive, including phishing pages and fake sign-in screens
- malware, or anything intended to compromise the people who load it
- anything you are not allowed to reproduce, or that is unlawful where you or we are
6When we act on a scan
A scan result that breaks the rule above comes down. We can delete a shared result link and the images behind it at any time, without notice and without being asked first, and we can refuse to scan an address again. We do not need to be certain before we act: a credible report is enough, and you can write to us afterwards if we got it wrong.
If you have found a result page serving something that should not be there, tell us at support@canwelaunch.com with the link, and we will look at it.
Where the law requires it, we report what we find to the relevant authority and keep the evidence for them. That obligation sits above everything else in these terms, including anything said about deleting your data.
7Fair use
Do not try to overload the service, work around the limits on how often scans can run, take the service apart to rebuild it, or resell automated access to it. We may set or adjust limits to keep the service usable for everyone.
8Paid features
Some parts of a report are paid. We sell a report pass for one site. We have also sold, and may sell again, a plan for your whole account; while it is closed to new subscribers, a plan that is already running carries on as these terms describe: it renews, you can manage or cancel it from your profile page, and what these terms say about the plan still applies to it. What each covers, what it costs, how long it lasts and whether it renews are shown before you pay, and the price shown at checkout is the price charged.
Payments are handled by Stripe. We do not receive or store your card details.
A report pass is a one-time purchase for one site. It opens that site's full report, on every scan of it, for the number of days shown when you buy it, counted from the moment your payment is confirmed. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel. While it runs, the site is also rescanned on a schedule, and we email you a digest of what changed after each rescan. When the days are up the report goes back to the free view and the scheduled rescans stop, and you can buy another pass for the site, or subscribe to the plan while it is open to new subscribers. A pass does not include the expiry warnings, webhooks or pipeline scans; those are the plan's.
The plan is a monthly subscription. It starts as soon as your first payment is confirmed, renews automatically every month at the same price until you cancel, and each renewal is charged to the payment method you gave Stripe. You can cancel at any time from Manage billing on your profile page; the plan then runs to the end of the month you have paid for and stops, and nothing further is charged.
The plan is a service that starts straight away, and part of what it delivers, the full report on every site in your account, is digital content delivered immediately. By subscribing, you ask for the service to begin at once and accept that, once it has, any 14 day right to withdraw from the purchase no longer applies to it. The same goes for a report pass: the report opens as soon as your payment is confirmed, and by buying one you ask for that and accept that the right to withdraw ends once it has.
Losing the right to withdraw does not affect the refund window below, and it does not affect your rights if something you paid for is faulty or does not do what it said it would.
We may change the price of the plan. If we do, we will email you at least 30 days before the new price takes effect, and you can cancel before it does.
9Refunds
Not what you needed? Email support@canwelaunch.com within 14 days of your first payment and we will refund it in full, whatever the reason. You do not need to give one, though telling us what was missing helps us improve the report.
The same 14 day window applies to a report pass, counted from the day you bought it.
Renewal payments are not refundable, because you can cancel before any renewal from your profile page and the plan then simply stops at the end of the paid month. If a renewal was charged after you canceled, or you believe one was charged in error, email us and we will put it right.
We reply within 2 business days and issue the refund through Stripe. Once it is issued, the money usually shows on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank.
A refunded plan ends. Every site in your account goes back to the free scan, so the full findings, their fixes, the scheduled rescans, the expiry warnings and the export are no longer available for them. You can subscribe again later if you change your mind. A refunded report pass ends the same way: that site goes back to the free scan.
Stripe is the seller of record for every payment, so you can also ask Stripe directly, through the link in the invoice or receipt it emailed you. Stripe applies its own consumer protections, including cooling-off periods where the law requires them, and may refund a payment on that basis without asking us. Whichever route you take, the plan or the pass ends in the same way.
After 14 days a refund is at our discretion, unless the law where you live says otherwise or the service was faulty or not as described. In those cases email support@canwelaunch.com and we will put it right.
10Your content and ours
Your site and its content stay yours. By submitting an address you give us permission to fetch, store and process what we need in order to produce the report, and to keep the report so you can come back to it.
The reports we produce are yours to use: share them with your team, your client or whoever needs to act on them. The service itself, including the site, the software and the way findings are presented, stays ours.
11Availability and changes
We do not promise uninterrupted service. Features may change, and checks may be added, altered or removed as the service develops. If we retire something you have paid for, we will contact you about it.
12Suspension and closing accounts
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other users at risk, or is being used to scan sites without permission. You can close your account whenever you like by asking us.
13Liability
As far as the law allows, the service is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or lost business arising from the service or from acting on a finding.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Where liability can be limited, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.
14Changes to these terms
When these terms change the date at the top changes with them. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new version, and we will email account holders about changes that materially affect them.
15Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the State of Georgia in the United States, and its state and federal courts have jurisdiction over any dispute. Nothing here removes any protection you have under the mandatory consumer law where you live.
